  3 FM

  Every year we create the media for the Serious Request campaign. This year 3FM was supporting the silent victim of aids – the children that have lost their parents through this devasting disease. A fragile 3D mobile symbolically shows that a child’s life in Africa – their education, health and security – relies on their parents. If that connection breaks, the child life can fall apart. A Record breaking € 7.135.707,- was raised, astonishing when you consider that for every 25 euro's the Red Cross can provide a child with food, school and care for a month long, so the sum collected from Holland goes a long way to helping those in need.   AVP changes

  Hectic group is always pushing the edge of technology. We must make the right choices, the right investments, hire the right staff today, to offer the services demanded tomorrow. Times change, and the technology service sector, such as ours, moves the fastest. We are responding by reducing our commitment to big film machines/scanners, and upgrading to a totally HD (up to and beyond 4k) and importantly digital pipeline. Luckily for us, this involves less space for archane machines, and more room for cinema screening and huge editing and grading facilities.

  ADAM en E.V.A

  We have wrapped on a huge amount of work - 8months of post in Amsterdam- for a great television series: Adam and E.V.A. A play on words, the title is read as Amsterdam and lots of people. With an arcing story of young love, the series creates a mosaic of stories between the heroes and Amsterdams rich subcultures. We have had a huge amount of shots - the series featured over 200 actors and 350 locations (in Amsterdam alone). Directed by Norbert ter Hall (Waltz, Het Schaep met de vijf poten, Het vrije Schaep), there was a great team of people to work with.

  HecticNY has produced a new project for Church and Dwight’s brand Fire & Ice Trojan Condoms. Working with Connecticut based CLANGELO SYNERGY MARKETING with guidance from Colangelo’s creative directors Toby Trigg and Michael Asphar, HecticNY has produced a new project for Church and Dwight’s brand Fire & Ice Trojan Condoms. Trojan is America’s #1 Brand of Condoms. The spot presents a sexy female scientists in an ultra modern laboratory working on a 3D screen creating/discovering the newest Trojan product. The lab scenario features some of the cutting edge 2D and 3D visual effects that Hectic Electric is known for worldwide.

  Adobe XL Celebrating Creativity Conference

  Julius Horsthuis from the digital team - Carbon - stepped up and gave a great talk on the issues and opportunities when developing stereo 3D for the web, based around our recent Tuinbouw Stereo 3D website. Well received by a great crowd, he used some of the slides from our presentation we are giving at many agencies within Amsterdam.   World's first 3D stereo site Shortlisted for FWA award

  Our latest site, the world's first 3D stereo site: http://nederlandse.tuinbouw.nl has been shortlisted for an FWA award). Created for agency Kong, it gives young people an overview of the available careers in agriculture. A tremendous feat, (every blade of grass is actual 3D, not textures, for full stereo effect), we thank Kong and the Tuinbouw ministry for having the vision to pushing the boundaries of the web.
